Creamy Dijon Salad Dressing

Creamy Dijon Salad Dressing

l/2 cup mayonnaise (low-fat if required)

2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

1 clove garlic, finely chopped

2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon anchovy paste (may be omitted)

Salt/Pepper to taste

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl

  2. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  3. Blend well.

  4. Cover and chill the salad dressing until ready to use.  

This simple recipe is excellent using French mustard instead of Dijon.  You can also replace the mayo with yoghurt or 50-50.
