Apple Crumble 12 Recipe
Ingredients 1 c. sugar 3/4 c. flour 1/3 c. margarine 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 c. water 4 to 6 med. apples Method Grease a shallow baking dish and slice cored and peeled apples into the dish. Sprinkle cinnamon and water and half the sugar over the apples. Combine remaining sugar, flour, salt and margarine, mixing lightly with finger tips until fat blends with other ingredients to make a crumb like mixture. Sprinkle this mixture over fruit and top with sprinkled cinnamon. Bake in 375 degree oven for about 40 minutes or until apples are tender and crumb topping is lightly browned.
